Telekinesis

Cost: 1-2 Points per Level

The character may move objects without physically touching them. Telekinesis that is limited to a particular element (Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Wood, etc.) costs 1 point per level, whereas Telekinesis that may lift anything costs 2 points per level. A character with Telekinesis may move objects at walking speed (2 squares per round) or manipulate it with the dexterity of a human hand. Telekinesis works out to Short Range at full power, although it effectively loses 1 level for each Range Increment beyond that (-1 level at Medium Range, -2 levels at Long Range, etc.).

A character may buy Weapon Attacks that "use" Telekinesis, but by itself the Attribute may not be used to inflict damage.

If a character attempts to use their Telekinesis to disarm an enemy, that enemy suffers a 1 point penalty per level of Telekinesis on their Body Stat check to hold on to their weapon.

By the Book
Level 1 The character can lift up to 1 kg (a small, hand held object)
Level 2 The character can lift up to 10 kg (a weapon)
Level 3 The character can lift up to 100 kg (a person)
Level 4 The character can lift up to 1 tonne (a car)
Level 5 The character can lift up to 10 tonnes (a large truck)
Level 6 The character can lift up to 100 tonnes (a small space ship)

Bending Rules

Cost: 1 Point per Level

A Bender may purchase levels of Telekinesis to represent their skill with Bending. Such Telekinesis costs 1 point per level and is limited to a single element, although each Element receives a special bonus at each Bending Level. When "summoning" their element for a Weapon Attack, the Bender rolls Soul + Bending Skill + Bending Attribute. Thus, a strong Bender is able to summon a large gout of flame, pull forth a giant boulder, redirect a river or summon a storm. Being a Bender, regardless of the level of Bending known, counts as a "Mastery" for the purposes of Avatar Martial Arts.
