Stealth

Cost: 1 Character Point / Level

The Stealth Attribute represents a trait (or traits) that helps the character to avoid observation, rather than a simple skill at remaining unobserved. Characters may be observed by any of 3 methods - Physical Senses (sight/sound/smell/touch/taste), Electronic Senses (sensor systems) or Magical Senses. This Attribute applies to any one of these three methods. In order to extend it to additional methods, the character must spend 1 more character point per additional method. When this Attribute is extended to additional methods, it applies at its full level to all sensory methods. For example, a character with level 3 Stealth against Physical Senses could spend 1 additional Character Point to allow their Level 3 Stealth to also apply to magical Senses (or 2 points to have it apply to all forms of observation).

Normally, when moving stealthily, a character may only move at 1/2 their normal movement rate. If moving any faster, they have abandoned their Stealth.

Level Description
Level 1 The character's movement while Stealthed is increased by 1 square (up to their normal Speed).
Level 2 The character gains 1 reroll for Stealth Skill Challenges
Level 3 The character's movement while Stealthed is increased by an additional square (for a total 2 square bonus, up to their normal Speed).
Level 4 The character may Stealth while in plain sight at a 4 point penalty (reduced by amount of cover the character is taking)
Level 5 The character's movement while Stealthed is increased by an additional square (for a total 3 square bonus, up to their normal Speed).
Level 6 The character may roll 3 dice for every applicable Stealth check, selecting 2 of the dice to count.
